Remington Model 1861 Army Revolver in .44 caliber percussion, S/N 5506 showing “P.A” inspection marks and cartouche. 1 of about 6000 produced of which majority purchased by Union forces. The revolver remains in very Lot Title good plus condition with 80%-90% original blue on the barrel. The frame and cylinder toned to 30%-60% blue drifting to a brown patina with blue mixed in.
